UPDATE 1:51 PM: Bynes was released from jail in West Hollywood at 10:30 AM PT, TMZ confirms.
UPDATE: Bynes reportedly sideswiped a cop car, prompting authorities to pull her over, TMZ has learned.
PREVIOUSLY:Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI early Friday morning in West Hollywood. TMZ reports that the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star is still behind bars after being taken to jail following her 3:00 AM arrest.

Although the actress has recently fallen off the radar when it comes to public appearances and TV/movie work, she has been quite the familiar face for authorities. Just last month, Bynes was pulled over by Los Angeles police for using her cellphone while driving.
Bynes’ bail is reportedly set at $5,000.
Virginia Beach Navy Jet Crash Video
A fighter jet that malfunctioned just after takeoff hurtled into a Virginia Beach apartment complex on Friday in a spectacular crash that sent flames and black smoke billowing from the rubble.
The two pilots managed to eject just before impact, suffering minor injuries along with five others on the ground. Several residents described hearing a loud explosion and looking out their windows to see the red and orange blaze. In the confusion that followed, two men helped one of the bloodied pilots from the two-seat F18 Hornet move to safety.
“Oh, my God, I heard three really loud explosions, then the black smoke went up high in the sky,” said 71-year-old Felissa Ezell, who lives in a townhouse near the crash site.
By evening, emergency crews were searching through the charred remains of the complex, where some 40 apartment units were damaged or destroyed. No fatalities had been reported.
Seven people, including the pilots from nearby Naval Air Station Oceana, were taken to a hospital. All except one of the pilots were released by late afternoon.

Madonna introduced her new “Truth Or Dare” fragrance with this confusing description:

In this tension, we find our true selves.
Um, OK. We weren’t sure what Madonna was getting at, but now that we’ve seen the fragrance’s new TV commercial, it’s pretty clear what “exposing what lies beneath” meant. Her famous body, including a rather liberal dose of décolletage, is on full display — and apparently not everyone is happy about it.
Alicia Silverstone Pre-Chews Food For Her Son
The actress’ 10-month-old son, Bear Blu, is already eating solids — as long as they’ve been pre-chewed. In the latest video posted on Silverstone’s website, the 35-year-old feeds her baby by chewing up his food and feeding it to him mouth-to-mouth.
“I just had a delicious breakfast of miso soup, collards and radish steamed and drizzled with flax oil, cast iron mochi with nori wrapped outside, and some grated daikon. Yum!” she wrote on The Kind Life, the website for her vegan cookbook, “The Kind Diet.”
The “Clueless” star explained, “I fed Bear the mochi and a tiny bit of veggies from the soup … from my mouth to his. It’s his favorite … and mine. He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I’m eating. This video was taken about a month or 2 ago when he was a bit wobbly. Now he is grabbing my mouth to get the food!”
“Pre-chewing” is actually a thing, but it’s very uncommon in the US and other Western nations and not recommended by health care professionals, as it can pass infection and disease from parent to child.
Trayvon Martin: Rep. Bobby Rush Thrown Off House Floor For Wearing Hoodie Video
Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) was thrown off the House floor Wednesday after wearing a hoodie and sunglasses in protest of the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida.
“Racial profiling has to stop,” Rush said as he peeled off his suit jacket to reveal a hoodie underneath, at which point he pulled the hood over his head and replaced his glasses with sunglasses. “Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum.”
Rush began citing passages from the Bible about the need “to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” and about being “sent … to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and to recover the sight to the blind and to set the oppressed free …. I urge all men who hear these words to heed these lessons.”
Rep. Greg Harper (R-Miss.), who was presiding over the chamber at the moment, repeatedly hammered the gavel and tried to interrupt Rush, but he kept talking with a louder voice.

The ball bounced off his hands, up over him and into the net, and El Salvador ousted the United States from Olympic qualifying with a 3-3 tie.
The stunned Americans missed the Olympics for the second time since 1976 and second time in three games.
“This is probably the worst feeling I’ve ever felt in my life so far as a pro athlete,” U.S. captain Freddy Adu said. “This is going to be hard to get over. But at the end of the day things like this happen. For me, I never want to feel this way again, and I’m going to do whatever it takes to never feel this way again.”
The Americans had to win to reach Saturday’s semifinals in Kansas City, Kan., and they led 3-2 on Joe Corona’s goal in the 68th minute. Officials added 4 minutes of stoppage time onto the game, and U.S. coach Caleb Porter said they were “seconds away” from closing out the win and taking the top spot in Group A. A television clock showed the ball going in 4 minutes, 14 seconds into stoppage time.
What happened is something U.S. midfielder Mix Diskerud said no one wants to experience in life, something he couldn’t believe.
“The last 20 minutes after our third goal, all those minutes felt like very, very long hours. But I thought we were going to make it. Everybody thought we were going to make it.,” Diskerud said.
Rick Santorum Wins: Louisiana Primary Results 2012
Rick Santorum won the Louisiana Republican presidential primary Saturday, beating front-runner Mitt Romney in yet another conservative Southern state.
“We’re still here. We’re still fighting. We still believe, as this race really shows,” Santorum told supporters in Green Bay, Wis.
Although the victory gives Santorum bragging rights and at least nine more delegates, it does not change the overall dynamics of the race; the former Pennsylvania senator still dramatically lags behind Romney in the hunt for delegates to the GOP’s summertime nominating convention.
Even so, Santorum’s win underscores a pattern in the drawn-out race.
The under-funded underdog has tended to win in Bible Belt states that include Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. Romney – a deep-pocketed, highly organized former Massachusetts governor – has persistently struggled in such heavily conservative regions.
Said Santorum: “I’m not running as a conservative candidate for president. I am the conservative candidate for president.”
Kim Kardashian Flour Bomb – Video
Kim Kardashian met her fate with a bag of flour last night at The London West Hollywood, where she intended to promote her new fragrance, True Reflection, before being covered in white powder by a woman in the hotel lobby.
“That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me,” Kim told E! Online. “Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there.”
But Kardashian isn’t the first in her clan to be covered with the baking ingredient. In December 2011, Kardashian’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban, was similarly flour-bombed. “This is for Kris Humphries,” a man yelled before flinging flour in Cheban’s face as he was exiting his jewelry launch at the Kardashians’ New York Dash store in Soho.
