Lindsay Lohan’s ‘SNL’ Monologue Video

Lindsay Lohan bit the bullet and spearheaded her own comeback Saturday night by not only hosting “SNL,” but poking fun at herself in the opening monologue. Whether it was her court-mandated ankle monitor, her sobriety, or her relationship with Sam Ronson, everything seemed to be fair game for the actress. And with surprise celebrity guests like Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm, it certainly made for a memorable opening.
Under the humor, though, there was an obvious sense of support both from the cast and the crowd. At no moment was it more evident than Kristin Wiig saying, “Everybody here believes in you. Everyone. We wouldn’t have you back otherwise,” only to be met by applause that went well beyond a response to a prompt light.
Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Today Show’ Interview – Full Video
Lindsay Lohan hosting “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, people are talking about whether or not this means a “comeback” for the troubled actress. Except Conan O’Brien, that is. He just can’t get over how weird her “Today Show” interview with Matt Lauer was.
You might have seen the interview preview (the full thing airs today, Thursday morning) but Conan got a hold of a different (and confusing) clip which he shared it on his Wednesday night show.
Oprah On ‘Weekend Update Video

“Saturday Night Live” February 18, but fans of her famous Oprah impression were probably left disappointed.
It turns out an Oprah bit was written as part of “Weekend Update,” it just didn’t make the final cut.
Luckily NBC has released the footage from dress rehearsal on Hulu as a “Bonus Sketch,” so if you’re still craving some of that Rudolph-Poehler goodness, you’re in luck.

Lewis Black Explains Why He Passes On Sarah Palin Jokes

Lewis Black doesn’t usually shy away form any political targets. But fans of his know that he hardly ever touches on one of comedy’s favorite vixens: Sarah Palin.
On the latest episode of “The Green Room With Paul Provenza,” Black elaborated on the subject and explained his reasoning behind leaving Palin alone. He of all people understands that she is “a mother lode” when it comes to political humor post-2008, but he isn’t interested in mocking her. Why?
Jon Stewart Slams U.K. Censorship- Video

“The Daily Show” is broadcasted and not censored in countries such as Somalia, Syria and Yemen, Stewart noted that the U.K. has done this before. Back in April Stewart was prohibited from using footage from the royal wedding in a parody context (you might remember the obscene Taiwanese animation they went with instead).
As he does best, Stewart fought back against the censorship by showing just how delicate England’s homegrown programming really is. Watch the full segment below to see Stewart demonstrate the hypocrisy via a slew of clips much more controversial than his comedic praise of Parliament.
Jon Stewart Breaks Down GOP’s Bizarre Video

Jon Stewart closed out this week of “Daily Show” Thursday night with a look at one of the GOP’s most bizarre choices as of late: showing freshman senators a clip from Ben Affleck’s “The Town” as a motivation tool. Yes, “The Town.” The one about the bank robbers.
When Republican House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy showed the scene at a Tuesday meeting, the idea was to urge freshmen and Tea Partiers to drop their opposition to House Speaker Boehner’s debt ceiling plan. The scene chosen from the film shows Affleck unenthusiastically inviting another bank robber to commit a crime, who promptly agrees by asking, “Who’s car are we going to take?.”
At least one member of Congress, Rep. Allen West, said he liked it and was moved to side with the Republican plan, adding “I’ll drive the car.” Stewart was amazed.
