Crazy, Stupid, Love.,” the star-studded ensemble romantic comedy out Friday, “and it was a great excuse to be nervous without anybody noticing. Like, ‘Yeah no, I’m acting, I’m being a really good actress, I’m super nervous!’”

Tipton, a 22-year old model/actress and relative newcomer, plays Jessica in the film, a 17-year old babysitter for the children of Julianne Moore and Steve Carell, on whose character, Cal, she develops an adorably fumbling secret crush. As a serious student of the art of acting and a newcomer in a cast that also includes Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Kevin Bacon and Marisa Tomei, Tipton took the opportunity to learn as much as she could from each established star.

“Julianne is this bubble of energy and she is so much fun and smiley and happy on set,” she remembers fondly in in a conversation with The Huffington Post. “Emma, I learned a lot from Emma, because I really look up to her, she’s my age and she’s so accomplished and she’s funny and she’s smart and she’s just kind of, willing at comedy, she really puts everything into it and that’s priceless. You can’t judge yourself, you have to just go at it and she really does.”

Working with Carell in particular proved very valuable for Tipton, providing her both with opportunities in front of the camera, and later, with the raw footage of the day’s work.

Jersey Shore Season 4 Sorry, Italy- Full Video

Jersey Shore Season 4 episode Jersey Shore Season 4 Sorry, Italy Full Video
The trailer for Season 4 of “Jersey Shore” was loosed upon us Monday night (July 18). The cast is in Italy, where they soak up the centuries-old architecture, marvel at the many cultural monuments, savor the beautiful cuisine …

Oh, who are we kidding: Fists are pumped, fights are staged, drinks are downed, tongues are enjoined in extreme closeup. So, pretty much the usual “Jersey Shore” shenanigans, but in Italy (at least Vinny plays lip service to learning Italian and finding a nice local girl). There’s also some extremely dramatized footage of Snooki’s fender-bender with a cop car.

65th annual Tony Awards 2011 Highlights Full Video

65th annual Tony Awards 2011 Highlights Full Video
65th annual Tony Awards were one of the liveliest in recent memory. Returning host Neil Patrick Harris started the show off with a peppy song and dance number, sang twice more during the broadcast and finished the show off with a re-cap rap. It was “legen….wait for it…dary!”

One of the highlights from Harris’ second tenure as host included an opening number that featured a vocal vignette by Stephen Colbert, an Anthony Weiner joke and the line “Broadway has never been broader, it’s not just got gays anymore!” Harris tackled the elephant in the room, the continued troubles with “Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark,” in a 30-second segment in which he made as many quips as he could before time ran out. Hugh Jackman joined Harris on stage later in the show for a medley of show-tunes with lyrics altered to script a fight over which of the two is a better Tonys host.

Among other presenters, Bono and The Edge seemed to be the standouts for their willingness to make fun of their musical’s recent troubles, stating, “it has been confirmed by the Reverend Harold Camping that ‘Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark’ will be opening Tuesday.” Trey Parker and Matt Stone caused some chuckles when they thanked their deceased co-writer Joseph Smith upon winning the award for Best New Musical.

The Best Musical numbers of the evening were from “Anything Goes”, “Book Of Mormon”, “Scottsboro Boys”, and “Company.” Best Lead Actress In A Musical winner Sutton Foster showed off her tap dancing skills in the delightful titular number of the musical “Anything Goes”.
