Tanner Foust Jumps Hot Wheels Truck 332 Feet Video
Hot Wheels car. This weekend at the Indianapolis 500, Foust, 37, shattered the world record by jumping a Pro 2 truck 332 feet. Johnny Greaves set the previous record of 301 feet in 2009.
Foust, a professional driver whose résumé includes stunts in “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” and “The Dukes of Hazard,” faced a G-force of almost 3 g as he steered the 875-horsepower truck, painted like a Hot Wheels car, off a 45-degree ramp. He reached 105 mph before taking flight.

Matthew Anthony Maldanado weighed 14 pounds, 3.8 ounces when he was born in Salinas, Calif., on May 9, according to NBC Los Angeles.
The infant’s poor mother, Emily, was in labor for two days before doctors at Natividad Medical Center performed a cesarean delivery.
“They took him out and the doctor started saying ‘damn’, so they put him on the scale,” Emily said, according to NBC.
Meanwhile, father Jose was given a heads-up that the baby would be big, the Examiner reported.
Baby Maldanado was nearly twice the size of the average American newborn, which weighs 7.5 pounds at birth
The Guinness Book of World Records says that in 1878, a Canadian mother named Anna Bates birthed a son who weighed 23 pounds, 12 ounces.

Police, Gunmen Open Fire On South Beach; Two Officers Injured
Things were literally on and popping on South Beach, Miami this Memorial Day weekend.
Miami, which draws thousands of tourists for Memorial Day weekend celebrations each year, saw two shootings that left one person dead, and as many as seven others injured, including two police officers.
According to the Miami Herald, two police officers are in the hospital after two early Monday morning shootings.
Police spokeswoman, detective Jenny Velazquez, confirmed that two officers were receiving treatment at Mount Sinai Medical Center for unknown injures.
Velazquez stated that the police-involved shooting happened around 4 a.m. Monday morning Collins Avenue and 15th Street on South Beach.
A second shooting erupted later around 5:15 a.m. just blocks away from the first in the area of 14th Street and Washington Avenue.
According to Miami Beach Police, a total of five people were taken to Ryder Trauma Center with injuries.
One person was killed in the shootings.
The video posted below was filmed by a bystander, and shows footage from one of the shootings that took place on Collins Avenue and 15th Street..
Police opened fire on a car, that had been involved in an earlier crash with a police car.

Kim Kardashian says she’s just saving time and stress by buying her own engagement ring. She is not yet engaged to boyfriend and NFL star Reggie Bush, but she says she has the ring already.
Kim Kardashian has gotten engaged to boyfriend Kris Humphries.
The NBA star got down on one knee in her bedroom last week after a whirlwind, six-month romance.
The happy couple confirmed the news in People Magazine.
Kardashian, 30, says, “I didn’t expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
The New Jersey Nets player, 26, presented Kim with a custom-made, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond engagement ring.
Humphries picked out for the ring with the help of her manager mother Kris Jenner.
He simply says, “I just knew I wanted it to be big.”
Humphries popped the question by writing “Will you marry me?” in rose petals on her bed in her $4.8 million Beverly Hills home.
“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” says Kardashian. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”
Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians know that Kim has wanted to settle down for a long time. She even went and picked out a different engagement ring for herself back in 2009 when she was dating Reggie Bush.
When little sis Khloe Kardashian was planning her marriage to Lamar Odom just a month after they began dating, Kim was complaining it should be her and Bush getting married.
Well, now she will get to take the plunger herself. Congratulations, Kim and Kris!

Will Smith has been killed by the Internet–specifically by a story from FakeAWish.com that claimed the former Fresh Prince had fallen to his death from a cliff in New Zealand and was circulated far and wide on Twitter, where phony stories like this one can blossom like a million 140-character weeds. He’s alive, though. Oh, and there’s a funny part! (Aside from the New Zealand coincidence between this item and the Tupac one, which probably speaks to the fact that the people perpetrating these hoaxes are huge nerds for the Lord Of The Rings trilogy.)
The “cliff” in question is Kauri Cliffs, which seems to actually be the name of a five-star resort and golf club in New Zealand that is beloved by Conde Nast Traveler.* Although that hasn’t stopped it from e-killing famous people like George Clooney, Tom Cruise, and Jeff Goldblum in recent years! Given that this hoax happened pretty much right at the beginning of the Internet’s summer, I’m going to posit that Smith won’t be the last celebrity killed by the death-obsessed hordes of bored people on their computers over the next few months, or even the next few days.

The Android based smartphone is said to be the smallest in HTC’s kitty with a 3.2 inch touchscreen, 5 MP camera and its unique HTC Sense user interface.
HTC Wildfire S smartphone has been launched in India for Rs 14,700.
It is the smallest phone among the HTC smartphones, measuring just 10.13 cm long and 5.94 cm wide. The phone has an average 3.2 inch touchscreen that produces pictures at 320 x 480 resolution. It is available in two colours, dark grey and silver white.
The Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread based phone is powered by a 600 Mhz processor and a RAM of 512 MB.
Its HTC Sense user interface comes with a variety of enhancements. HTC Sense also includes a new integrated online e-reading experience utilising a new e-book store powered by Kobo and a new, mobile-optimised e-reader that offers the ability to highlight, annotate and quickly search for definitions or translate unfamiliar terms.
The phone features a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, which is also capable of recording HD videos. One can also edit images with a variety of fun camera effects.

Mahmoud Abdel Salam Omar,Arrested On Charges Of Sexually Abusing Hotel Maid
The 74-year-old businessman is accused of sexually abusing the maid and holding her against her will inside his hotel room.
Police say the incident happened Sunday night.
Police spokesman Paul Browne says detectives found the complainant to be credible.
Omar is the former chairman of Egypt’s Bank of Alexandria.
Strauss-Kahn quit as the leader of the International Monetary Fund on May 18 after he was charged with sexually assaulting a maid at a different city hotel.
Dog Kills 4-Year-Old Boy
Jayelin Graham, a 4-year-old boy, was killed when the dog, a Cane Corso Mastif, erupted in a violent rage, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. No one seems to know what set off the dog, but apparently the animal was already a known menace in the neighborhood.
“Within a split second it happened,” Calandra Jubeark, the boy’s aunt, told WABC-TV. e “[Saquina Jubeark, the boy's mother] said, ‘The dog wouldn’t let go.’ It’s painful.”
Snooki in Custody After Cop Car Crash
Snooki was driving when she struck the cop car, but sources connected with the production tell TMZ, “Zero alcohol was involved.”
We’re told no one was injured.
A witness tells TMZ, Snooki smacked her into the back of the patrol car, wedging her ride between the car and a highway protection wall. The witness says Deena was in the passenger seat at the time of the crash — and when she tried to exit the car, she had to go through the window … because the door was blocked by the wall.
